Expert: Russia’s market of AI in industry to reach $380 mln by 2021

MOSCOW, May 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s market of technologies on the basis of artificial intelligence (AI) for industry will reach U.S. $380 million by 2021, according to a research by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, seen by PRIME on Tuesday.

“On the grounds of this study, experts think that 1.3 million units of equipment in machine building and 600,000 units in processing manufacture will be connected to the industrial Internet in Russia by 2019,” the document read.

The experts also assessed projects of research and commercial organizations from 27 countries and found out that a third of publications on artificial intelligence were made in the U.S., or 32% out of 100% of studied works, 12% in China, 10% in Germany, while Russia and other countries were presented by single projects.
